Abe Portman was a man in US Army Intelligence in 1957. While being interrogated by FBI agents Taylor and Paul Smith for being forced to help Soviet forces at Hangar 51, Indiana Jones gave Portman's name as one of the people he thought could vouch for him but Taylor implied that Portman wouldn't.
