Akil was a pharaoh of Egypt.
Biography[]
Akil was the youngest of three brothers. A dispute arose between Akil's siblings, princes Bakari and Bomani, over who was entitled to take the throne and civil war broke out. The pair ended up killing each other which ultimately allowed Akil to become pharaoh.
The story of the three brothers fell into legend which led to Sallah Mohammed Faisel el-Kahir and a member of the Adventure Society searching for the brothers' buried pyramids in 1934.
