Anthony "Indy" Magnoli was born in Canada in 1976, grew up in the USA. and finally moved to New Zealand in 1999. While earning his Archaeology degree at the University of New Mexico, he picked up the nickname "Indy" partly due to his field of study, but mostly because of the brown fedora that rarely left his head.
He became known on the internet for his film prop replicas, especially those from the Indiana Jones series. His extensive knowledge of the franchise landed him membership on the team that put together The Lost Journal of Indiana Jones which includes elements adapted from his replicas.
He continues to make props for himself as well as collectors and film and theater production companies, but most of his time is spent operating his clothing business, Magnoli Clothiers.
