The Baltic Sea is a European body of water which lies between several countries: Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany. The Baltic also connects to the Gulf of Bothnia, and is home to the Swedish island of Gotland, the largest of its islands.
