"They arrived at Bath. Catherine was all eager delight;--her eyes were here, there, everywhere, as they approached its fine and striking environs, and afterwards drove through those streets which conducted them to the hotel. She was come to be happy and she felt happy already."
Vicky Prentiss, reading from Northanger Abbey[src]

Bath is a city in western England. First settled as a resort by the Romans for its hot springs, the town flourished in the late 18th century as a resort and cultural center for England. The novel Northanger Abbey is partially set in Bath, while the author, Jane Austen, had lived there for several years.

At Miss Seymour's house in Oxford in May, 1916, Vicky Prentiss read to Indiana Jones a passage from Northanger Abbey about the main character, Catherine, going to Bath and being happy.
