Benson was a doctor from New York and friend of Professor Stanley Corda.
Biography[]
When Stanley Corda went missing around 1943, Indiana Jones searched his room and found a letter indicating a meeting with Dr. Benson at 2:30 pm.
Familiar with Benson through appearances at Jones's college, the archaeologist visited the doctor at his home only to learn that Corda had not shown up for his appointment. Benson gave him correspondence from Corda to the doctor.
Afterwards, they saw Ramos and two of his men approaching the house. Jones, who was also acting as one of the gangster's heavies to free a pair of hostages, struck the doctor to make it look like he had beaten the information out of Benson then gave the missive to Ramos.
