Café Noir was an establishment in Brussels, Belgium used by the French Secret Service during World War I.
In the early half of 1917, spy Remy Baudouin was assigned the cover name of "Albert", and positioned as proprietor of Café Noir — based on his cooking skills — where he was to be the main French contact for the "White Lady", the Belgian underground.
