"Club Nightmare!" is issue 6 of Marvel's Further Adventures of Indiana Jones comic book series. It was published in March 1983.

Plot summary[]

The grand opening of Marion Ravenwood's Manhattan nightclub, The Raven's Nest, is disrupted by a series of mishaps. Indiana Jones—Ravenwood's silent partner—suspects local gangster Emil Marko is behind the incidents, but rejects the theory after discovering evidence that Marko had abandoned plans to persuade Ravenwood to install casino games at the nightclub. Jones and Ravenwood then turn their attention to Jamal, the club's decorator. Jamal confesses, revealing his scheme to recover black market artifacts he had smuggled into the club disguised as decorations, then destroy evidence of the deed by bombing the club. Jamal's bomb detonates in the struggle that follows, killing him. Jones and Ravenwood narrowly escape, but The Raven's Nest is completely decimated.

In real life, by 1936, Frank Sinatra was still a waiter who rarely made singing performances at bars. Although he was known by that time, he did not yet have the reputation that Marion Ravenwood attributed to him in this story.
