David Tattersall is a British cinematographer.

He studied at Goldsmith's College in London, receiving a first class BA in Fine Arts. He went on to study at Britain's National Film and Television School at Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. The first film he worked on was Salette in 1986.

He was one of the primary cinematographers on George Lucas's 1992 television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, for which he won an Emmy Award. He later photographed four of Lucas' films: 1994's Radioland Murders (on which Young Indy's Joel McNeely served as composer), 1999's Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, 2002's Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and 2005's Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. During production of The Phantom Menace, Tattersall also served as cinematographer on bridging footage for Lucas' Young Indy re-edits.

Tattersall also served as cinematographer on The Green Mile, which Young Indy writer Frank Darabont wrote and directed.
