Diogenes was a Greek philosopher.

While traveling with his son, Indiana, through Greece in 1910, Henry Jones, Sr. educated him on philosophy. During the trip he explained that Diogenes became so skeptical that he took to living like a dog. The elder Jones then amused himself by recalling a legend that Diogenes had lived naked in a tub.
