Hauptman (Captain) Emil Loeb was an officer in the German Intelligence Service assigned to obtain the Crystal Cylinder of Stonehenge for the nefarious purposes of the Third Reich. Out to stop him (though not entirely successfully) were Indiana Jones and Karen Mays.
