The Aztec Mirror was an ancient Aztec artifact, rumored to possess the power to summon an evil deity that the locals named the Smoking Mirror God. The mirror was completely black and hardly reflected anything. It was hidden inside a large temple and protected by Guardian Statues, which would come to life and attack anyone who tried to remove the artifact from its resting place.
Indiana Jones recovered the mirror over the courses of his adventures in Mexico during the 1930s. The Nazis, led by General Anton Schlossberg tried to claim the artifact, in the hopes of invoking its powers, yet Jones managed to stop them in time.
