The Brazilian totem pole was a totem pole depicting a rabbit and a dog. The totem pole was anchored in the worldview of a tribe of native Brazilian indians who worshipped rabbits and dogs. Indiana Jones kept the totem pole in his office at Barnett College in 1938.

Behind the scenes[]

The rabbit and dog are Sam & Max, characters from a graphic adventure series published by LucasArts in the 1990s.

In the EGA version of the game, the totem is significantly different, composed of the heads of various animals with only Max's head at the bottom as recognizable.
