The bow and arrow are a projectile weapon.

Indiana Jones used the bow and arrow to fend off bandits, Nazis and tribes while excavating in Mexico in the mid-1930s.[1]

In 1935, members of the Thuggee cult used bows to try and shoot Jones off the broken rope bridge outside of Pankot Palace.[2]

The Hovitos tribe of South America equipped themeselves with bows.[3]

The War Bow of Gwau Meo was a mystical artifact last known to be on Mala Island in the southwest Pacific Ocean.[4]
