Michael Byrne is a British actor who played Nazi Colonel Ernst Vogel in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
Byrne had previously acted with Harrison Ford in the 1978 film Force 10 from Navarone. Additionally, he and his Last Crusade costars Sean Connery, Denholm Elliott, and Paul Maxwell all had roles in the British war film A Bridge Too Far, though he did not share scenes with them.
