In 1940, the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse was responsible for a plague infecting the inhabitants of an island in the Indian Ocean. While Indiana Jones managed to fend off zombies and barely escape an earthquake that hit the area, the Horseman was killed during the event.

- The Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse was intended to appear in the Dark Horse Comics story Indiana Jones: The Dance of Death, but the book was cancelled and went unreleased. The character, along with the events of the story, however, were referenced in the West End Games book, The World of Indiana Jones.
