"Germany, Mid-August 1916" is the ninth episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and the third episode in season two. It originally aired on ABC on October 5, 1992. In 1999, it was combined with "Somme, Early August 1916" for release on home video as Trenches of Hell.

Having been arrested for accosting a rude donut shop clerk, the old Indiana Jones is in the lockup and annoys his fellow inmates with the story of how he escaped a German POW camp in 1916.
