Hawaii (also referred to as the Hawaiian Islands) was an island chain in the Pacific Ocean and a territory of the United States of America. Its capital was Honolulu.
Indiana Jones was marooned in Hawaii in 1914.[1]
In the 1930s, Pan American Airways used the islands as a stopover point for their Pan Am Clipper flying boats. The Pacific Clipper[2] and China Clipper[3] both made stopovers in Hawaii.
Hawaii was the last known location of the elusive Peacock's Eye diamond.[4]
