The Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb: 1935 Journal is the instruction manual of the LucasArts game Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb. It provides the directions how to play the game written from a mostly in-universe perspective through Indiana Jones' journal notes for the year 1935 with clippings such as letters, memos, newspapers and other leaflets attached.

The typography for Jones's handwriting style would later be used for The Lost Journal of Indiana Jones.

The booklet asserts that Indiana Jones is teaching at Barnett College which contradicts sources which show he doesn't begin teaching there until at least 1937.

Doctor Frodente's advice that the archaeologist should add dates to his diet foreshadows Jones's near-lethal encounter with the same fruit in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Jones's reference to a mishap near the Marquesas Islands is a nod to the events of Indiana Jones and the Shrine of the Sea Devil which, for the journal, took place a month prior.

The format each game appears on is treated as an in-universe artifact given to Indiana Jones by Marcus Brody to research. However, the PlayStation 2 version doesn't have unique comments as he tries to figure out the device like the PC and Xbox formats do.

Depending on the version of the manual, the back pages either have an in-universe ad section which includes the services offered by Jock Lindsey and Imam as shown in Raiders of the Lost Ark, or promotion for LucasArts' (now defunct) web store "just off the Internet Highway".
