Iraq is a middle eastern country where Indiana Jones and René Emile Belloq first met on an expedition while studying at the Sorbonne in 1922.
In 1934, Indiana Jones recovered the Staff of Aaron from the Yezedi, a satanic cult active in the country who had come into possession of the relic some time after its disappearance from the Temple of Solomon.
