Jasmine el-Kahir was one of Sallah el-Kahir's nine children. In 1934, during one of Indiana Jones' visits, she participated in a card trick performed by the young magician Mystery Maskelyne.
Two years later, Jasmine and her siblings saved Jones from being killed by surrounding the archaeologist as a human shield to protect him from Belloq and his men.
