Residents * Indiana Jones

The Jones house was the residence of the Jones family, located in the city of Princeton, New Jersey. Indiana Jones lived here as a boy, together with his father Henry Jones Sr., and his mother Anna Jones. Henry Sr. was the professor of medieval history at the University of Princeton.

After Anna's tragic death in 1912, Henry and Indy moved to the Jones residence in Utah. Henry's new job was teaching at the Four Corners University at Las Mesas. However, when Indy was fifteen years old, the Jones' moved back to Princeton, and Henry resumed his teaching there.

Indy lived with his father in Princeton until the spring of 1916, when he got involved in the Mexican Revolution, and later on in the First World War. It is presumed, however, that Henry Sr. continued to live in his house in Princeton.

When Henry Sr. disappeared in 1938, searching for the Holy Grail, Indy returned to his childhood home to look for clues of his father's whereabouts.

[edit] Behind the scenes

The Jones house seen in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles looks somewhat different from the house seen in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. However, they are assumed to be the same, since the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade-novelization clearly states that the house seen in the film is where Indy and his father moved when they left Utah.
