Trivia[]
- Malikyan was originally a contender for the role of Sallah but a traffic jam caused him to arrive late to his audition and his interview with Steven Spielberg. With John Rhys Davis already cast to the role, the producers decided to cast him as Kazim instead.
- Prior to his entry in the Indiana Jones franchies, Malikyan already gained fame due to his longtime stint with the British sitcom, Mind Your Language, where he plays Greek ship company office executive Max Papandrious.
