A son of Lao Che was the half-brother of Chen and Kao Kan. In 1933, he was sat at his family's side in Lotus Eaters when Indiana Jones approached to recover the ashes of Wu Han's family.
Behind the scenes[]
The third child of Lao Che only appears in the Indiana Jones and the Dinosaur Eggs novel by Max McCoy where none of the gangster's sons are identified by name but referred to as "...one fat one, one painfully skinny one, and one that was as handsome as the others were homely." All other sources refer only to Lao's other two sons, Chen and Kao Kan. As Chen has been identified as the eldest and Kao Kan the youngest, this would suggest that the third is the middle child.
