In 1957, Lincoln and his comrades, disguised as US military soldiers, helped Colonels Irina Spalko and Antonin Dovchenko to infiltrate in Hangar 51 at Nevada, United States of America in order to acquire the Roswell remains. When they opened the metal sarcophagus holding the remains, their magnetic propeties pulled the glasses off of Lincoln's face.
Later (after getting his glasses back) he was one of the three soldiers who followed Indiana Jones to Doom Town, unaware that it was not a real settlement but a nuclear testing site. Upon hearing the air raid siren, Lincoln yelled for the others and they got in their car and attempted to drive away. When the blast hit, Lincoln watched a certain fridge sail overhead before the shockwave struck the car, incinerating him and the other two men inside.
Behind the scenesEdit
"Lincoln" was played by Emmanuel Todorov in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Todorov was credited as the first of four Russian Soldiers. Like many of the Soviet Special Forces who infiltrated Hangar 51, Lincoln shares his name with a US president, in his case Abraham Lincoln.
According to the insignia on his shirt, Lincoln was pretending to be a Private First Class in the U.S. Army.
Although all the Soviets in LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues are depicted with the same stock LEGO minifigure, with the exception of Dovchenko and Spalko, in the portable versions of the game there is a Soviet soldier who fulfils a similar role to Lincoln who also wears glasses. Unlike his counterpart, however, he survives the events at Doom Town and makes it to the Temple of Akator.
