Lucasfilm Ltd. (LFL) is an American film production company founded by George Lucas in 1971, based in Marin County, California.
The company was responsible for producing the four Indiana Jones movies as well as the The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles television series.
In 2012, the company was sold by Lucas to The Walt Disney Company.
