- "Good afternoon, sir."
- ―M.P. in Guard Hut[src]
M.P. in Guard Hut was a U.S. soldier along with Jimmy Wycroft, Higgins, and Mitchell. In 1957, he was assigned to the base security at Hangar 51 with 4 other MPs. During a lockdown period due to weapons testing, he was at the front gate.
When an Army convoy approached, he followed Wycroft to the lead vehicle, and stood in front of it while his sergeant informed the car's passenger of the base closure. When Colonel "Truman" stepped out of another vehicle, he saluted the superior officer to alert Wycroft that Truman was approaching.
The M.P. was gunned down when Truman's men, actually Soviet soldiers, opened fire on all the base guards. His body was then dragged away from the guard hut entrance.
[edit] Behind The Scenes
- The role of M.P. in Guard Hut in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was played by Kevin Collins, who also served as the technical advisor (military) for the film. In the film, he wears the uniform of the US Air Force's Air Police.
- According to the insignia on his shirt, he is a lieutenant[source?], which would exclude him from being the same character as Corporal Higgins or Private Mitchell.
