Sister María was a nun that worked in the Nazca sanatorium dedicated to Saint Anthony de Padua in Peru. When Indiana Jones and Mutt Williams arrived at the facility in 1957 looking for former patient Harold Oxley, María explained the circumstances of his departure, and guided the pair to Oxley's room where the archaeologist had vandalized the walls with drawings.
