Martin was a British intelligence agent who worked for MI5. During the late 1930's, Martin and his partner Davies met with a group of Indiana Jones-recommended scholars and adventurers at the British Museum in London to assist in an expedition to find a 14th century teasure that once belonged to the Knights Templar.
Martin and Davies escorted the group to a military airfield to fly them to Scotland, one of the three possible locations the Templar were known to have fled.
