Mirror of the Gods: Ancient Astronomy and Celestial Navigation was a book on paleoastronomy. Indiana Jones kept a dusty copy of it in his house in Bedford.[1]

In 1957, after translating Harold Oxley's riddle out of Koihoma, Jones pulled out this book from his shelves to show pictures of the Nazca Lines to Mutt Williams. It also held a sketch depicting Akator. Jones tore a few pages out of the book before departing for Nazca with Williams.[1]
