Once the craddle of Genghis Khan's empire (one of the biggest in human history) Mongolia is today a communist country subjected to the full influence of the Soviet Union. In the 1920s an American expedition uncovered the biggest deposits of dinosaur eggs in Mongolia's Gobi Desert.
