Moshti el-Kahir was one of Sallah el-Kahir's nine children. In 1934, during one of Indiana Jones' visits, he participated in a card trick performed by the young magician Mystery Maskelyne.
Two years later he and his siblings saved Jones from being killed by forming a human shield around the archaeologist to protect him from Belloq and his men.
