Dr. Mulbray was a character in the world of Indiana Jones, possibly a professor at Barnett College.
[edit] Behind the scenes
Billy J. Mitchell portrayed Doctor Mulbray in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
While character of Mulbray appears in the credits for Last Crusade, he does not appear in the script. However, references to Dr. Mulbray exist in the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Graphic Adventure video game. In the Barnett College scenes Marcus Brody and Indiana Jones talk about Jones - a month prior - breaking a Mexican statue Mulbray bought to prove its worthlessness. Mulbray had been convinced to buy the statue by professor John Reid.
In the novelization by Rob MacGregor, Brody and Jones are approached in Barnett College by two unnamed colleagues. The second of whom, a professor, produces a ceramic statue he acquired in Mexico and would like it appraised. Jones precedes to snap it in two and, like the game, proves it's without value, suggesting that Mulbray is the same man, while his partner is likely Stanton.
