Nikita Khrushchev was leader of the Soviet Union from 1953-1964 after the death of former leader Joseph Stalin.

In 1957, Khrushchev was premier of the USSR. Irina Spalko was aware that Khrushchev was not as interested in psychism to the extent that his predecessor, Joseph Stalin, had been but was confident that the Crystal Skull of Akator would change his mind.[1]

That year, Marshall College students held a protest against Communism, during which they carried signs containing caricatures of Khrushchev. Mutt Williams and Indiana Jones drove by motorcycle through the protest while being chased by Soviet agents in a car. The protesters' signs got caught on the car's windshield, blinding the driver, and causing the car to crash into a statue of a former dean of the college.[2]

Personality and traitsEdit

A Russian politician, Nikita Khrushchev was an iron leader for the Soviet government just like his predecessor Joseph Stalin. However, unlike Stalin, Khrushchev lacked from interest on the psychism. Though he didn't hold Irina Spalko in has high regard like Stalin, he still gave her his blessing to scour across the globe in search of artifacts with paranormal military applications.[1]
