Nikita Khrushchev was a Russian politician and leader of the Soviet Union from 1953-1964 after the death of former leader Joseph Stalin and the one who assigned Irina Spalko and the Spetsnaz to find Akator in 1957
Following Joseph Stalin's passing in 1953, Nikita Khrushchev became the new leader of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. He was the one responsible for putting Colonels Irina Spalko and Antonin Dovchenko in charge of finding the legendary city of Akator, in which Spalko was sure to find psychic warkare to help her nation to win the Cold War.
In 1957, Marshall College students held a protest against Communism, in which they held signs containing caricatures of Khrushchev. Mutt Williams and Indiana Jones drove by motorcycle through the protest while being chased by Soviet agents in a car. The protesters' signs got caught on the car's windshield, blinding the driver, and causing the car to crash into a statue of a former dean of the college.
Eventually, both Spalko and Dovchenko failed the task which Kruschev assigned to them as the two ended up being killed in part of Jones' intervention. In 1964, Khrushchev's Soviet mandate came to its end.
