"They arrived at Bath. Catherine was all eager delight;--her eyes were here, there, everywhere, as they approached its fine and striking environs, and afterwards drove through those streets which conducted them to the hotel. She was come to be happy and she felt happy already."
Vicky Prentiss[src]

Northanger Abbey is a novel by Jane Austen, published in 1817. Considered the most light-hearted of her novels, Northanger Abbey is viewed as a parody of Gothic fiction.

In May 1916, after spending a day together in the English countryside outside Oxford, Vicky Prentiss read to Indiana Jones from the second chapter of the novel while staying at Miss Seymour's house.

Behind the scenesEdit
