Rajid was a man who lived in New Delhi in 1937. A gambler, Rajid found himself in debt and his wife feared for his life. Hoping to raise enough with the sale of a statue of Shiva to pay the money owed, she held several secret meetings with Indiana Jones, who was acting on behalf of a museum.
However, Rajid returned home to find his wife and Jones together, and mistook their arrangement to be an extramarital affair. Infuriated, Rajid tried to shoot Jones, sending the archaeologist for cover. After the gun was emptied, Jones emerged to explain the error but Rajid simply pulled out a second pistol from his jacket and chased Jones from the building.
