Regan was an Australian climber.
Biography
Regan[1] was a customer at The Raven, Nepal in 1936. The Australian climber engaged the bar's proprietor, Marion Ravenwood, in a drinking contest and lost.
Behind the scenes
The Regan was portrayed by Patrick Durkin in Raiders of the Lost Ark. However, the character was credited as "Australian Climber". In the comic book adaptation of the film, Marion calls him "Red". It's unclear whether this is a nickname or not.
During the filming of Raiders, Regan and the drinking contest were originally going to not be featured. Instead, Marion Ravenwood was going to stop two customers who were having a fight at The Raven. However, at the end, this scene was deleted and it was decided to include the scene of Regan and the drink contest to demonstrate the endurance of Ravenwood and reuse that scene for the part in which she must booze René Emile Belloq.
In the LEGO video games, Regan and the drinking contest aren't present, possibly having taken part off stage before the arrival of Indiana Jones at The Raven.
