Sir Richard Francis Burton was a Victorian era explorer, adventurer and linguist who had many travels in the Orient. He kept journals with his finding and had a confidant known as Sir A.D..
In 1867, Burton was last to see the lost city of Cozán in British Honduras before the arrival of Indiana Jones and his guide Bernabé in 1933. Upon seeing Cozán, Jones noted that while Burton had got out of the city, Burton's best frined Tobias did not.
Upon Burton's death, Lady Burton burnt his journals, considering them lascivious and obscene. However, A.D. salvaged some.
