The robot guardian of King Nub's tomb, beneath the pyramids of Meroe, was an enormous robotic monster powered electrically and activated when given a single ruby eye (found in Nub's coffin). The bipedal mechanical beast could both attack its opponents with spinning bladed hands or by firing a high-powered, primitive laser beam from its "eye." In 1947, an amazed Indiana Jones stumbled across the robot guarding Nub's personal crypt and successfully deactivated it by electrocuting it multiple times by luring it across energized floor panels.
