Suzette Chambin

Suzette Chambin managed a cafe in London for Belgian expatriates displaced from their home country because of World War I. She was the mother of several children.

In May of 1916, she met Remy Baudouin as he and his friend Indiana Jones had arrived in London to enlist in the Belgian army. She and Remy had a whirlwhind romance and were married before he left off to war. She didn't see her husband again until after the end of World War I in 1918, when Remy and Indy returned to London. She helped convince Remy to go out and seek the fabled Peacock's Eye.
