[edit] No flashbacks/bookends?
I think this timeline is a great idea Icybro, and has simplified a few things by using the timeline of the YIJC re-edits, and the bookends from the original episodes. However, I think the flashbacks/bookends should still be listed in the "adventure timeline" infobox sections of the appropriate articles. Adamwankenobi 21:14, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
The only issue I see with that is it results in a few articles with multiple timeline banners at the bottom—one banner for the main story, and another for the bookend or flashback—which is pretty confusing. What if we just modified the template to link back to this article, where the bookends and flashbacks are detailed? Icybro 21:23, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah that'll work. Adamwankenobi 21:30, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] sorting out by month for the busy years?
for some of Indy's busiest years, like the mid-1930s, should we list the month/months that each adventure takes place? Jawajames 05:48, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- The problem with that is which months when things the Journal and Guide contradict each other. Vetinari (Appointment) 13:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Provide both and link the respective sources? Currently most of the story pages give just one month without attribution, which seems less than ideal. --Andrew Nagy 21:18, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- What do you mean by story pages? Vetinari (Appointment) 01:22, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- The navbox at the bottom of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis just says "May 1939"; nothing about where the month comes from or whether any other sources disagree. --Andrew Nagy 02:53, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I'd imagine the actual product would be the source itself (or it should be pointed out in the behind the scenes). Vetinari (Appointment) 16:52, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
- Should I assume any date presented in that way is safe to use in the timeline, in that case? --Andrew Nagy 02:43, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
- In theory... Vetinari (Appointment) 17:37, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

- On further reading, it looks like The World of Indiana Jones is another potential source of timeline conflicts, altough it'd make sense to rank it below the later two books in priority. --Andrew Nagy 04:43, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
