"...don't call me Junior!"
The title of this article is a nickname. This article is about a canonical subject that lacks a proper name, and is known only by its nickname or callsign. Please see the relevant discussion on the talk page or explanation in the article itself.

The valet parked cars for guests of 69 West in New York City. One of his hobbies was reading archaeology books.

In the early 1990s, the New York Chapter of the Multi-Racial Educational Trust Fund held a benefit luncheon at the establishment, and the valet assisted an elderly Indiana Jones in parking his classic car. While Jones was unhappy at first to let the valet touch his car, he passed his keys over to the man. After the luncheon, the valet asked if Jones was the Dr. Henry Jones, archaeology author. When Jones responded affirmatively, the valet refused to accept a tip, as reading Jones' books had been enough of a reward. As Jones left with a smile on his face, the valet complimented him on his beautiful classic car.

Behind the scenesEdit

The valet appears only in the comic adaptation of "British East Africa, September 1909" and not in the episode "British East Africa, September 1909" of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
