"Verdun, September 1916" is the fourth episode of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and the fourth episode in season one. The episode originally aired on ABC on March 25, 1992. For home video, it was paired with "Paris, October 1916" to become Demons of Deception.

In 1996, the episode was edited into Demons of Deception, which was released on VHS in 1999 and DVD in 2007 (as part of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones: Volume Two, The War Years).

AdaptationEdit

The episode was adapted as Issues 5 & 6: Verdun, September 1916 of the comic series of The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles (which was later reprinted as The Peril of the Fort). It was also novelized twice: Field of Death and The Day of Destiny. Some of the story was also novelized along with Paris, October 1916 in The Mata Hari Affair.
